The Girlfriend’s Guide to Clean Cars

Let’s be honest, ladies. Most of us, at some point, have spent time and money styling our hair, testing out the next greatest mascara, or shopping for this season’s must-have on the fashion list. But, we might not have spent that much time or TLC on our cars. While I grew up hanging out with my Dad, a guy who loves American sports cars and race cars, even I have fallen into the “I completed the car maintenance–it should be good enough” routine. I chalked up my lack of car TLC to no time. Sure, I  enjoyed taking my big Tahoe to the quarter-fed car wash. But I’m guessing I looked something like a chihuahua running circles around the Tahoe as I spent $3.00 in quarters, rolling the foaming brush over every last inch of black paint. And after the foaming brush, the rinse, the spot free rinse, the drying, and the interior vacuum, I’d spent over an hour. And in all honesty, it looked good, but not great.

And then, on the recommendation of my friend, Jessie, I found what I’d been missing: Big G’s. And now I have a crush the size of my Tahoe on this amazing car wash. What I love about Big G’s:

  • I can spend $8.00 and my car looks like it just came off the lot.
  • I can spend 5 minutes and my car looks like it just came off the lot.
  • I can use the Big G’s vacuums for free, so my interior is clean, and I don’t have to drag my own vacuum out to do it.
  • Big G’s includes a bay of other car wash goodies, including ArmorAll wipes for $1.00. For a buck, I was able to get all my vinyl interior sparkling.
